March 25, 2013 - New foliage

On this morning, Oscar (my Wheaton Terrier) and I entered the open space through the gate at the northeast entrance on Isleta Blvd. and headed toward the Pajarito Ditch to the west, stopping on the way to take pictures of the current state of the demonstration farm fields.

This view is from the north border of the open space.  Those are the Caretakers and Gutierrez-Hubbell houses in the center behind the trees.  The Gutierrez-Hubbell House is partially hidden by a tent for an upcoming event.  The greenhouse in the demonstration farm is on the left in front of the trees.

The view of the field looking back towards Isleta Blvd.  That's the greenhouse on the far right, with the Gutierrez-Hubbell House behind it, and Judy's Trading Post and Auction in the center on the other side of Isleta Blvd.

The trees are beginning to show signs of foliage

The Pajarito Ditch was full when we were here yesterday (without camera), but the ditch was nearly empty this morning.  This picture was taken facing toward the north boundary on Don Felipe Road.

The ditch to the south along the west boundary of the open space.

A look at the trees and their newly developing foliage.

The picnic area at the rear of the open space behind the caretakers house.

That's the Gutierrez-Hubbell House in the center rear of the photograph, with the special events tent set up to it's left.

A look into the rising sun from the rear of the open space behind the greenhouse.  That's the cartaker's house on the right, the greenhouse on the left, and Judy's Trading Post and Auction in the center on the other side of Isleta Blvd.

Some images of the new foliage on the tress lining the Pajarito Ditch behind the Gutierrez-Hubbell House.

A couple of views of the trail running to the south along the Parjarito Ditch to the southern boundary of the open space on Hubbell Circle.
