March 3, 2013 - The first images.

This was my first visit to this wondeful place.  We entered at the main gate to the Gutierrez-Hubbell House on Isleta Bllvd. across from Judy's Trading Post and Auction, and walked to the Pajarito Ditch at the rear (west) of the property.

I took pictures of the trail to the north,

then, rotating clockwise, I took pictures of the north field of the Hubbell Demonstration Farm to the north-east,

to the east along the trail back to the Isleta Blvd. gate,

to the south along the ditch,

to the west across the Pajarito Ditch,

and back down the Pajarito Ditch to the north.

We walked north along the dry Pajarito Ditch, taking pictures of interesting trees, plants and fields

We are at the rear (west) of the Gutierrez-Hubbel House Open Space and taking pictures towards the front of the property along the Isleta Blvd. boundary.

We continued north to the northwest corner of the Perimeter Prescription Trail

The trail continues north to Don Felipe Rd, along the west boundary of the open space extension

At the rear of the equipment pens in the open space extension, the dog was getting impatient, so we turned around and headed back (south)

to the northwest corner of the open space boundary, then followed the original trail to Isleta Blvd. at the front of the property.
